Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Good morning all; Wet, glad to hear you are doing well. In case I forget, have a wonderful trip to Texas. And, by the way, you forgot the all-important 11th commandment: donât get caught.
Yep. Cats donât stay on the floor; they live in three dimensions, and have wills of their own. If you canât deal with either of those traits, best you stick with animals more willing to live as slaves.
My cats have been trained to stay off surfaces where I donât want them-yes you can train cats. I offer them many places for their âheight needsâ. and that is the trick. Why would some one who doesnât like cats even read this strip and even comment on it? That is the weird bit her.
I have birds, so I donât have cats.Thatâs not the point.Itâs a comic. We suspend disbelief for the sake of the fun and the funny. Itâs not about cats on the counter, itâs about a cartoon cat on the counter. If itâs not a fun comment, a person should keep it to themselves, and not ruin it for the rest of us.
& Donkey HoteyRead Jackson Galaxyâs âCat Daddyâor watch his show on Animal Planet, "My Cat from Hell*âŠ.cats need places they can jump up to, and places they can hide or play while up thereâŠthe cat trees are usually not high enough for the brave and fearless feline, but you can always make paths to the heightsâŠone jumping place to the nextâŠthat allows them the heights of enjoyment without having to yell or bring out the spray bottleâŠsay what you will, but after the second time of being sprayed, my Tinker never jumped on the counter or the tableâs ever againâŠand Belle hasnt even attempted it, so I am a happy Siamese mom. Cat toys like the feather on a fishing pole, or that wondrous laser dot, that encourages them to jump helps get it out of their system alsoâŠ
Donkey Hotey,Neither cat here gets onto a counter or table, ever, they have been gently taught and it works. Outdoor cats arenât a good idea, too many dangers: cruel people, cars, bad dogs, poisons, traps, bad kids, predators, and the list goes on. Stay with us and enjoy all that this page offers :o)I said before that I like your âhandle,â it reminds me of one of my âscreen namesâ â Nora Tockey. :o)
Sorry Ten Cats fans! Couldnât help myself, my grandparents crossed Ellis Island from Italy on my momâs side. My dadâs side is German/Scotch. So âŠ.. I am a feisty one when you get my âdanderâ up!
Do you watch them all waking hours? We donât have to, they have no desire to be on the counter, they have cat trees/towers, a large window sill to watch the world, theyâre quite happy with all they have. Never leaving ârewardsâ on the counter and a spray bottle of water has been all thatâs needed for training. Traps and hungry foxes, etc., are in the country, Iâve heard the horror stories. I hope tomorrow brings peace and quite to all of us. We did well here before, we can do it again.
