As if they pay attention to it. A lot of kids are just being taught the stuff they will find on sats tests instead of what should be taught and the tests geared to that. A lot of high school graduates can’t even spell correctly or write an intelligent sentence.

Quite frankly, I think there are certain professions that should require background checks—one of them being teaching. I don’t see it as an invasion of privacy. If you’re an abuser, or something of that nature, the last place you should be working is with children. You shouldn’t have committed a crime in the first place! Again, I am soooooo glad I homeschooled my children!
