Before I retired, my wife gave me orchids to keep in my office. I told her: “I don’t know anything about orchids!”She said, “You can learn.”And I did. My colleagues at work were astounded that I kept them alive (and well) for a couple of years before I retired – at which point I gave them to a physician who had his own hothouse with orchids. He said I’d done a good job.
