I think I was the last generation to eat cereal with the word “sugar” in the title. I do have stickers from Cracker Jack on my drawing board. Those things never come off.

And point out that you don’t know how badly you need a shovel until you don’t have one. It makes me very happy to think of Cracker Jack stickers and decoder rings in a patrol car. The hardest jobs need more fun. Drink your Ovaltine.
