Brutus: There's roadwork along the bus route, causing me to be late for work all week...so Veeblefester has been on my back every day... Brutus: And my biggest account is unhappy with my recent work, so I've had to put out a lot of fires there...and I've gotten no help from my co-workers! Gladys: I wasn't expecting such a diatribe or I wouldn't have asked. The dinner table is no place for that negativity! Gladys: Mama taught me not to be a complainer. She said, if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all! Gladys: Now, enough about work! How's dinner? Gladys: Brutus, I said, how is dinner?
