I think Linus meant to say “pasture.”

If The Simpsons could introduce words into the English language decades later, why not Linus’ small contribution?

Here in Vermont, we’ve got grasstures all over the landscape! Cows, too! Sparky must’ve spent some time here! :-)

Reminds me of when I was little and thought the word boisterous was “voiceterous”. Made sense to me….

Cows stand in it, eat it, lie in it, and Grasstures make a great litter box.

I think she means a grass pasture. LOL!

It occurs to me that you could replace Linus and Lucy with Bucky and Rob from Get Fuzzy, and the joke still fits.

Anybody who begins a sentence with “You don’t know anything about” while talking to Lucy is asking for it.
