It’s from 2009, when we couldn’t yet blame Obama for all the world’s ills. A lot of people had been riding high during much of the Bush years on the residual effects of the Clinton Administration and “easy money” policies under Bush—and A-Rod was on performance enhancing chemicals. Around 2008, the illusion of wealth began to fall away.

The problem isn’t the illusion of wealth – there’s still plenty of wealth – it’s the dissolution of the middle class, as the rich get richer and everyone else makes continually less money in comparison with increases in the cost of living. And there are as many rich Democrats as Republicans, and Congress is a ’Millionaire’s Club’ in and of itself.

Those of us in the Rest Of The World are really looking forward to the USA getting out of the massive mire left by GWB. He was responsible for the biggest war in your history that left a region far more destabilised than when he started it. In addition, he had no interest in implementing financial controls on your rapacious finance industry and consequently damaged most World economies.Good Luck, I really mean it.
