Sorry, sniffing isn’t the same as tasting. Usual overreaction from Miss Fussbudget. Probably confusing dog germs with fizz/carbonation.

Go sit in you basement and quaff a whole case of root beer, Snoop, and plot that sweet revenge.

Overreaction, thy name is Lucy van Pelt.

Ah, yes. Elder sister syndrome. “Mom, he’s breathing on me! She touched me! You touched my stuff!”

Lucy of course is unaware of Snoopy’s double life as the WW1 Flying Ace. Asking him to resist rootbeer is just animal cruelty.

Imagine what she would have found if she had used a microscope instead of binoculars?

right

This sniffing root beer and looking under binoculars thing was later used in the Peanuts animated special “Happy New Year, Charlie Brown”.

If Snoopy bites Lucy’s leg, he will get cooties.It’s a no win situation.

It’s rare that I see a Peanuts comic that I haven’t seen before, so this was a special treat – Miss Fussbudget notwithstanding.

Did the root beer have a good bouquet?

Technically Snoopy sniffed AT the root beer……..In a much later arc, Lucy discovered that stomping her big flat feet on cold germs is the best way to destroy them. They can recover from medicine but never from a hard stomping!

The same thing she found using the binoculars because she’s LUCY.

Geez, Lucy! I want to pull her witchy hair.

I have 15 avatars in my folder. They’re not all photos of me! Otherwise everybody’s computer screens would be braking. I change my avatar around every 3 weeks. Sometimes I put the same pictures on my avatar twice throughout the year. Glad you like them!

@Snoopy_FanHello Snoopy_Fan. Thank you for telling me a bit more about The Beverly Hills Club fire. I can imagine you all listening to the radio at the fire station just waiting for an update to come through. I’m glad you shared that with me even though it was sad to read. The people who got killed in the fire are in my thoughts and I will remember them.-I missed you when I was away from GoComics for a few days but the time away done me good. Did you miss me?-Glad you enjoyed the 70’s songbook! There are some great songs on there. A band I don’t really like is The Rolling Stones. -I have an interview coming up on Friday 13th June, 1:00pm for an apprenticeship I applied for. In case you’re not familiar, an apprenticeship is a real job but you still get paid while you are learning. This one lasts for a year. -The apprenticeship is for the Admin Offices at my college. Everybody has been saying that I should go for it because I have great computer skills (I have a qualification) and I feel I communicate well and that I’m trustworthy.-Since I leave you a comment nearly every Friday night, I’ll tell you how the interview went on that day if you would like me to. Wish me luck! -Sorry for making this long, I tried to make it short but I had a lot to tell you and it wasn’t easy!-I hope you had a lovely weekend and that you have a blessed week ahead!
