Roger: Aww...it's a Happy Father's Day text from Peter! Aww...it's a Happy Father's Day Facebook message from Paige. Aww...it's a Happy Father's Day e-mail from Jason! Is there a way to reply to all three of them at once?
Andy: You're kidding, right?
I agree, Andy. As Bob Dylan says, the times are a-changing. (Happy Father’s Day to every father… wether they’re good or poor at utilizing this kind of technology.)
Jason is using a laptop, not a smart phone. Peter’s phone does not have to be smart to text, either. I would have expected the later technology to be used by younger kids, but then Roger probably should not be figuring out that he received anything this quickly anyway.
Reminds me of a past iPhone commercial:Four guys sitting around a coffee table watching the game on their tiny iPhones while a giant plasma TV is the background has the same game!Stupid is as stupid does; or as Ron White would say, “You can’t fix stupid!”
Just turn and say thank you to them since they’re sitting right next to you, Roger. Me, I gave my dad stuff in person, and then I later emailed him a neat picture.
Ah, technology. When I hear Miranda Lambert’s song, “Automatic” on a country music station, I think how technology like cell phones rob away contacted with people face to face. This also includes with the high tech stuff we buy. Within a year we buy items like radios and flat screen TVs, these items are obsolete in matter of time. There are times like this that I don’t want to “Keep up with the Jones’s” because I will be broke!
I’m surprised that Roger even managed to figure out how to interact with the phone or even turn it on. HE’S EVOLVING INTO SOMETHING SLIGHTLY MORE TECH SAVVY!
