Barista: Adam. What did you do? Adam: What? Barista: That person who was in this-"your"-booth just huffed out of here. You didn't chase him off. Did you? Adam: Now, how would I have done that? Barista: Glaring. Fondling your knife. Singing "my booth" to the tune of "My Girl." Adam: I do my best work here!!

Doc, glad you found a place. When we decided to move where we are now, we had six months to pack so I’m sure you haven’t had a moments rest. They say moving is one of the most stressful things we do in our lives. Good luck. …………………………………….I’m sure moving to his usual booth was not stressful for Adam. I hope he’s happy now.

We are all creatures of habit and always gravitate to things that give us comfort. If you attend church regularly, the chances are better than even you try to sit in the same area each week. Although we are all social animals, we resist change and Adam is certainly no exception.

Tough to find a place okay with pets; harder for a zoo. Glad you did it.

congrats on finding a place for you and your extended four-legged family. .Packing up is hard. Never seems to be enough time. Remember to unpack ALL the boxes after the move. You don’t want something perishable being left boxed for 6 months or more. (I am thinking cookies or your nuclear coffee.).when we moved houses (in the 70’s) – mom threw stuff out as she packed. When unpacking – she threw stuff out. .I know you won’t have much time during the move – but after you get all the boxes out of the van or truck or car – find your nuclear coffee, make a cup for each of you, sit and rest and watch the animals explore. – That will be your last bit of rest until you have unpacked.

Adam better be careful – he might lose more than his favourite booth. Scaring away paying customers…. not good. .we are such creatures of habit.
