Jimbo: No, Rose! Don't leave me! Rose: I insist! Coffee or tea? Mindy: Okay, tea please. Jimbo: If I must choose between awkward silence or small talk...I'll choose awkward silence every time! Mindy: So, Jimbo...tell me... Jimbo: Uh-oh...here it comes! Mindy: What's going on in your life? Jimbo: Nuthin.

It’s Rose’s friend so there’s no reason for Jim to stay around. If a friend came of visit Jim, Rose probably wouldn’t hang around.
