    The trolley makes sense in Britain, but where did the American-style coach come from? Are the old ones gone like Ā£sd, Whiteleys, the Clark factory in Street, ā€œOne Man and His Dogā€, and the Liberal Party?

    What do you mean, ā€˜American style coachā€™? Most UK train carriages have looked like this for many decades.

    You can find old compartment-style carriages on preserved steam railways if you really want to live in the past.
