Sign: Welcome to P.S. 38 Parent-Teacher NIGHT Godfrey: Mr. Wright, as I'm sure you're aware, Nate's a very bright boy. He could be an excellent student. But he has, shall we say, a short attention span. He seems more interested in filling his notebook with doodles than improving his grades! When he should be taking notes on class material, instead he's constantly drawing cartoons. Here's an example of his handiwork. I found it under his desk last week. DRAWING OF GODFREY: Back! Back you beasts! Dad: What do you have to say for yourself young man? Nate: Awesome! I thought I'd lost this one!
