Sometimes it isn’t clear what time period Molly and the Bear is supposed to be taking place in. There are contemporary references, but on the other hand cereals simply do not have names like this anymore. No cereal has had “Sugar” in the name for at least as long as my conscious memories go back, which is 28 years.
I remember Quisp and Quake, the commercials were the best part of them. They were done by the same folks who did Bullwinkle.
It’s not so hard to believe when you consider that back when those were out, people were a lot more active. Kids didn’t have to be taught to go outside and play. Except for Saturday Morning cartoons, it was hard to keep kids inside.

Yes, Jay Ward Productions, who also created Cap’n Crunch,
