My uncle was an elevator operator. He lost the job ‘cause he couldn’t learn the route. I think his problem was every time the elevator got high, he was too.
The thing that amazes me about unionists’ derogatory use of the word scab is that the use totally ignores the fact that scabs are part of the healing process. After all, if you didn’t get a scab when you opened a hole in your arm, you’d bleed to death…sorta like what the unions did to Hostess. How many jobs did you save that way, unions, eh?
