Chepe: What do they call it when humans eat humans? I'm sure there's a word for it. Pepe: Well, at the Donner Pass incident, they called it "Soylent gringo."
Lalo was making, I think, a play between the Soylent Green & the insulting, Gringo term. In my part of the American Southwest, Gringo is as insulting as the context. I don’t feel insulted when Kid Sister calls me her “Gringo Big Brother”. In that case, the term is descriptive, if confusing to some.
Context and location are always specific to the incident, screw the dictionary. You’re creating a straw man argument. The suggestions re honkys, etc, is all yours, not mine. I would never be so impolite. Your comments border on Politically Correct insanity, demanding that all speech, regardless of time, location, context and audience, adhere to a cookie cutter standard.
You’ve miss-located your head. My original comment was an opinion and I used my own situation as an example. Screw the dictionary simply means that the dictionary is not the ultimate reference for individual behavior. Your insistence that everyone conform to your verbal standards is arrogant beyond belief. I didn’t define anything, you did.
Bless your little heart, you just love to interpret reality your own way. Now you’ve muddied the facts even more. Calm down, take a cup of herbal tea and eat a cookie. All this fuss can’t be good for your blood pressure.

Vegetable eaters are vegetarians; therefore, human eaters are humanitarians.
