OK, let me be the first to say that this doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me except the Chipotle/pickled veggies line… ;)

Chipotle has started putting short fiction by contemporary writers on their drink cups and takeout bags in a desperate attempt to get young people to read. Many/most of the authors chosen are not obviously Latino in heritage.

Taco stand guy, being something of a snob about authentic taco cuisine, is taking a cheap dig at this.

Taco man is just being a bigot, what other ethnic groups can’t make a specific ethnic cuisine?

You folks, with your total lack of understanding of how race dynamics in the USA play out, especially via capitalism, are SCARY! And you are the reason the USA is so hated around the world now—you are just plain ignorant.

If you buy it on the sidewalk during the warm months, sure.. A sterile environment isn’t “authentic.”

I’m waiting for some heavily armed rednecks to show up at the taco stand.
