Jon Stewart’s guest Wednesday 1-20-10, Jim Wallace, suggested to the bankers receiving bail-out bonuses they might consider sending the money to Haiti. Made sense, moral sense.
too bad they could care less about people in need … it is all about THEM - and with the added power of being considered PEOPLE the corporations will really and truly own it all … good times for all of us …. NOT.
Yet another comparison of two unrelated issues. Hate on businesses by acting like they actually would have wanted all that money to go straight to Haiti.
There’s so much aid going to Haiti there are planes all over the world full of supplies waiting to be allowed to come in and unload it. It’s being offered faster than it’s able to arrive.
If you’re going to be pissed at government money going towards paying executive bonuses, then get mad at the people who decided to give them that money.
Wait till they paint a target on your back. Its the bankers now. Who will be the boogeyman next ? Mabe you or your industry , its only a matter of time.
