Panels 2 and 3 are confusing, being different scenes, yet shot from exactly the same angle. Better to have Lila entering in panel 3, rather than standing in place. Flopping the angle (having Lila enter from panel right rather than panel left) would also help.
Maybe because you didn’t make it clear to him that YOU were interested, Lila. Judging form that look on his face in Panel 2, however,I think it’s a safe bet that he’s not. (Maybe he is gay.)

I thank you, but I am middle management. I also agree with Charlie, he’s wary, he doesn’t know Lila, and is scared of a sexual harassment charge.
