Shades of Dudley Fisher!! God help me, I love these panoramic full page cartoons. Ahhh McDougall… time to take the Oz book down from the shelf yet again. And welcome back!
@ GuiltyBystander: They make sure that the milk and other milk-based dairy products that you buy isn’t sour or disease-ridden. (And that your sour cream isn’t rancid.) They make sure that your eggs aren’t full of e. coli and other diseases. They make sure that the meat that you eat is properly graded, packed and stored and isn’t full of contaminants (animal feces, mold, etc.), adulterants (sawdust, etc.) or disease. They make sure that the vegetables that you eat aren’t bug and disease ridden. Curse them or make fun of them if you want, but one of their primary jobs is to make sure that what you eat won’t make you chronically ill or kill you.

I like that it blows up with clarity now. I was on the verge of dumping this one because I couldn’t decipher it.
