Years ago, when our youngest daughter was in her teens, she had a guest over to the house. He was impressed when he noticed we had a huge collection of records (yes, vinyl records numbering in the hundreds). The stereo system was in the “living room” which we almost never used unless we were listening to music of had guests over for the holidays.My wife and I were sitting in the family room on the other side of the house when we realized there was not a sound coming from anywhere. I got up to just make sure everything was “OK”, and as I walked into the living room, there were albums everywhere on the floor, and they were just reading the jackets.When I suggested they actually place a record on the turntable and play some music, my daughter said they were just “looking” for something they might like to hear.Kids…
