At ease, Mr. Data!

Summer vacation can’t come soon enough for Red!

The minute Red gets off the school bus at home, all of his book-learning is going to dissipate into thin air! It’s Summer!!! =-O

When I leave work each morning, I press a Flush button under my left ear. All data is gone till I re-enter work the coming night. Don’t ask – can’t tell – cause it is in the recycle bin.A lesson Red should learn for the summer.

Well, if he’s retained that much over the school year, it must be time to forget most of it over the summer.

“That” is a word frequently used in print and speech, and is usually redundant. Why don’t they teach this in schools?

If comic strip kids forget the entire year’s lessons, no wonder they keep repeating the grade.
