Poor Red and Rover…looks like no good deed goes unpunished!

I had that happen on a catch release. Except in my case it was a Bald eagle the hijacked a trout I said out loud… grow up and become someone else’s dinner.

Oh well, that’s a part of the chain of life! Red and Rover are learning lessons this Summer.

There’s a video of a college student releasing a mouse he’d live trapped in his dorm. The little guy last less than a minute. A small raptor (hawk?) swooped down for lunch.

Red goes home and says,“You should have seen the one that got away!”
