Dachsies don’t have enough fur for a lion cut. Or much of anything else.

My long-haired calico gets a lion cut once a year. She hates the procedure, but she’s much happier and more extroverted afterwards. When her fur grows back there is hardly any shedding at all.

Psh—normal is overrated. And boring. (And, yes … I’m speaking from personal experience.)
