I would have expected this from Jon Arbuckle.

I haven’t even started with our mom on DVD. She had trouble with the VCR. She will soon be 85 (she would be mad at me for saying that and no worry she has no computer) in April. I would like to use DVD or blue raye for recording but not to thrilled about showing her. We can still get VHS’s and people are literally getting rid of their VCR’s. Technilogy is still changing can’t keep up help!

Apple ][e, are you kidding? I don’t think the cartoon is that old. This looks more like a Mac LC or something… :^)

This comic was frist printed Feb, 17 1999. It is making fun of the old AOL “you’ve got mail”

kmcripn - Put a web cam outside, pointed at your mailbox. Or put a lid-switch (like the ones used on washing machines) on your mailbox’s flap and have it trigger a RC car controller; put the RC car in the house, put sheet metal screws into the drive wheel’s tire such that they then strike a bell or chime. Or you could make the wheel rotation trigger a light switch.

I’ve got inventive solutions for everything! They may be ugly, but they’d work.

Our mailbox is on our front porch. We always leave it open about an inch, and when the mailman comes, he shuts it tight. So all we have to do is look out the window to see if he’s come yet. It’s handy in cold weather! =)

I actually have a mailbox that has an extra Yellow flag built into it. Whenever someone opens the Mailbox the Door of the Mailbox pulls up the Yellow flag. That way all I have to do is look out the Front door and if I see the Yellow flag up I know that the mail has arrived. (Just have to remember to push it back down after I get the Mail.)

Of course it’s obvious, Furienna. It’s also not only a prejudice, but groundless. It probably only arose as a last resort when all other ethnic humor became politically incorrect among whites.
