Hmmm…as a Plugger….I could probably make a hit if I recorded the sounds I make when I have a nightmare about the ex!! I would say the sound made by sticking my finger in an electrical outlet, but we Pluggers aren’t that dumb…intentionally that is!
Back in the 80s, at what was once a diner near here, coworker of mine was sitting in a booth listening to the jukebox playing in the booth behind him (yes, it was that old a place) when a Beatle tune popped up. Now, this was the 80s, remember. Heard the kid ask the parent who was singing; the parent explained the Beatles to the kid. Kid replied incredulously, “You mean Paul McCartney was in a band before Wings!?” Made my coworker feel really, really, old. And that wasn’t even 15 years after the Beatles broke up.
How about Spike Jones and his City Slickers? What he did with different items and get music from them. He had a big musician dress up in a little lord Fauntleroy outfit and sing like a little boy. Now, that is funny!

No e’en Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus or Katy Perry? I’m sure Elvis Presley and The Beatles will make the cut.

I find it ironic that the music my parents used to tell me to turn down can now be found on the easy listening stations.
