After Gene came the rest of the parade…

There was a momentary problem with the float, but it got fixed…

Gene’s wife is going to have a fit about all the confetti on the carpet…

he is wearing geometric pants.

Ssshhhh…. don’t tell….but for Gene’s birthday, in a few weeks, Matilda has hired the Stanleys to help with his dream….

This often happens immediately after Gene recognizes himself in the bathroom mirror…

now wee havent had a gud paraid round BS sints teh summer of 2011 ah thinks… wuzzit laybur day or mammoryal day , BeV, SteL…. SuSun..??? Did ah miss teh wun this yeer?

My first thought at seeing this was the flower covered floats at Xochimilco, Mexico. I was very impressed when I was there.

Keep imagining Gene, it’s always good to be ready for when the time comes. Doh – slow down – maybe you need a parade in your honor. Happy – that is one ugly rabbit (?). But usually anything goes in a parade.

ooo! ooo! I gots a big turkey balloon dressed in a hula skirt and coconut shells! I hope it ain’t windy………
