One of my all-time fishing gags was in “BC”, when Curls fell asleep on the bank. All the water in the pond dried up in the meantime, and his worm was hanging in midair. He (Curls, not the worm!) comments, “Very thirsty worm!”

Is the appreciated music the same fun as the stuff you were growing up with and into ?My “heavy” music years are middle 60s to middle 70s or so, but I like and have stuff above and below that period; my formative years, if you will. -I feel that way about it too ! Some people just can’t give enough. An admirable trait. ! -I appreciate that. She has had so many doctor visits and past hospitalizations back when it was only for diabetic. Getting the insert for the dialysis hookup required multiple attempts. Your neighbor is no doubt familiar with the extremely regimented diet that goes with that kind of treatment.-Thank you for that !She is the last of Dad’s brood and the youngest as well. Ed is 95 and looking forward to traveling and has met the both of them as evidenced by the photo I put up last year or so. -I feel so ooshy skwooshy gooshy ! Thanks a bunch !!!Ron said he was going over to Sister’s Hospital today and would let me know how the visit goes. -Hugs are like warm fluffy kitties. I’m a bottomless hole for Hugs, so be careful. -May you have a gray tinkly Tuesday !__________________________________________________
No, it’s better.-I’m donating my 8th pint of blood tomorrow. My appointment is 3:40pm so it will be 8:40am for you. I’m going to make sure that I ask the nurse how long I took to donate. Last time I took 5 minutes,12 seconds.-Has any more of Eileen’s family came to see her in hospital? I do know that a person needs to go in for dialysis 3 times a week, I often hear my next door neighbour (Chris) start up his van early in the morning to go to hospital for his dialysis.-Your family sound great to me. You always have interesting stories about them and some wonderful photos too.-Glad you liked my hugs. I love being hugged and I love giving them.-This is cute, I have to post it:
This is Linda’s friend Ruth. Linda asked me to tell you she is doing better and to thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and pretty cards. I keep up with it and let her know when I go for evening visitation. In the morning, I get myself ready to go see her, then I can comb her hair and help her try to feel like herself. While she is in there, her neurologist wants a new MRI, her urologist wants a new CT scan, her gastroenterologist had to have a new Colonoscopy, and her heart surgeon wanted new film to see how things are progressing. After all of that is done, and if she is off the oxygen, she will get to come home. Her cats are sure missing her and so is George the Bassett Hound she gave to her daughter in law, but still walks. I go walk him, but he lets me know that it just isnt the same. Ah well, I do what I can, but I must not carry the right treats. She also wanted me to try to post a pic or two. She has a folder and its fully organized, and she has told me all I have to do is cut and paste, so here goes my third try. (It worked at Ten Cats and Citizen Dog!) She also told me to post Grumpy cat for Eldo.
The only thing I ever liked about fishing was that is was a great excuse for drinking beer early in the morning. The beer crate in today’s strip is Andy’s fallback position.
affie, If you have a garden, that water would come in quite handy. I put a water bucket under our bedroom window to collect the water drips from it in the summer. Sometimes it fills up pretty good. I have 3 2 gallon watering cans. As we pay for our water usage here, I figure every little bit helps.!
