A friend in the late 80s was an Apple employee. Her title was “Technology Evangelist”. From early on, they adopted the trappings of a cult, permitting no dissent from the visions of the Glorious Leader.
When I bemoaned to my friend the absence of a command line, she responded with the then dogma “If it needs a command line, it is a bug.”
Wait, is Microsoft really Apple’s competitor nowadays? More like the mass of Android manufacturers. And like all religions, once their prophet died and they had no new “revelations,” adherents did not disperse, but have instead became even more fanatical.

Apple is innovative, beautiful, and well engineered. Getting all fanboi about microsoft is like drooling over a chipboard desk.

If the dark blue graphic is for the murderous cult of Islam, it should be off the chart.
