Nos Nevets: Sure you don’t have plantain? Traditionally, a stalk of banana would be hung from the rigging in the Trinidad – Bermuda yacht race. The bananas will be ripe on arrival. Contrary to Oscar Hammerstein II, “bananas you can pick right off the tree” are not that good.
