Reminds me of the Muppet Show segment where from the catwalk Scooter screams, “Swedish Chef! On stage for the percolator sketch!”, at which point the SC mutters excitedly and (as usual) incoherently, and slaps a fried egg down on the counter and runs. Straight down on the counter, no plate. A waitress shovels the egg off the counter and shuffles off. Cut to a table in the theater mess, where Floyd, the bassist for “The Electric Mayhem,” is sitting reading Variety as the waitress slaps the fried egg down on the table in front of him. “That it?” he asks, to which she replies in a cracked voice, “’Fraid so, dearie,” as she shuffles off. Reaching out toward her, Floyd asks, “Hey, can I get a handful of coffee with that?”
