Charlie…. not much time on a summer Wednesday, cos I help at a farmer’s market….but happy to show you more about it in the next day or two if you’ll come back!
The basic code for posting images is <img src="URL" width="350">
Where URL represents the online address of the picture, and 350 the width in pixels at which you’d like it to appear….could be another number but 350 fits nicely in this box.
I think I posted the cake at 360 px…. your strip above is 600 px wide.
X-Tech talks a bit more about it in the Style Guide on his blog:
Click Here and scroll down to “Images.”
But for posting your own pictures, we also have to talk about sizing them for the web, and getting them hosted online, cos you need a URL to post them…. and not the URL of an album page, but one with only that image on it.
It’s actually very easy…. and there are free sites that will host your pictures and give you the code with the URL in it, ready to copy and paste.
More later…and I apologise if you’re ahead of me here…. Hard to tell what people already know and what they don’t.OTOH, I’ll be happy to clarify if you have questions.
