I think the Andy characters work best in a time warp with no modern technology. (The plain old metal bathtub that you have to haul water to is inherently funnier than a normal one.) What level of technology would be best? Halfway between “BC” and “Dick Tracy” maybe?
I’m not up to speed on the latest technology. I don’t have an iPod, iPhone, iPad…etc. All I really need (and have) is a computer and mobile phone. Nothing else.xxx

A phone that poops out on music needs to Go !!!+-Her daddy would be very cross with you ! -The horses around here are generally behind about a 5 foot tall wire fence. I might have seen one or two but I don’t know. If anybody can find some then that would be pretty awesome.-I hope you enjoy your trip. We will miss you! Andy Capp will be a deserted island without you.-May you have a great week ahead of you!
I love todays pics! While looking for things to take to Linda, I ran across a beautiful bed jacket and gown set. Looked brand new, so I took it and a curling iron, and made our girl look as good as she can right now. I also took her some real coffee, and then went to church. She seems in good spirits and while she does nap a lot, I know from our conversations, that she is getting better. I dont have time to post today as her son Lennie is taking the family to Mortons for some Sunday dinner (Prime rib for me) and then we are all going to go visit. Only one at a time, but I will take the last time slot and then take a cab home. I am carrying a large purse, and yes the laptop is in it. I hear the doorbell so have to run. Have a great Sunday everyone. If you go to Andy Capp or Citizen Dog, please let them know. Bye!
AW GEE BEV! THE THE THE ORIGINAL “PARENT TRAP”??? LIKE I DON’T FEEL OLD ALREADY, AND LIKE THAT WASN’T ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER FOR KIDS LIKE US, WAY BACK IN THE DAY? THANKS FOR THE BLAST TO THE PAST! THE REMAKE WAS OKAY, I SUPPOSE, I GUESS, WELL MAYBE NOT!
You know, Maureen O’Hara was one of the BEST actresses ever, her and Myrna Loy. Maureen and Brian Keith WERE GREAT TOGETHER, AND MAUREEN AND JOHN WAYNE, WELL, THAT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!
She is still alive I believe, she is AWESOME! No one today can hold a candle to those 2 wonderful actresses, and NO ONE can beat LUCILLE BALL in the comedy department!

Don’t tell me Chalkie got a used phone that didn’t come with the user’s manual.

The button on the bottom corner lets you choose between the good forward camera and the rear pointing selfie cam.

As noted by others, I’m also a little discombobulated by the modern references, but I have to admit that today’s is funny. Well done, guys!

I would have expected that Chalkie and Andy followed the philosophy of “real men don’t read manuals!”
