@ c.davies – You said it! I work in a retail bookstore, and just want to throttle the parents who let their kids howl and shriek like that. there’s no reason for it. If the child is making noise because it’s distressed, or wet, or scared, or whatever, TAKE CARE OF IT! If it’s just throwing a tantrum or is just bad mannered, take it home and learn some parenting skills!
awww, Dougie was singing. Happy sounds, even if howling with the pack are ok. .there are the wails. the shrieks. yells. and the screams. Sometimes I think children shriek just to hear that high pitched sound. I have been told they out grow it. .
