Seems there is a tinge of finality peeping through Shuter’s remarks. Almost as if he is about to put his investigation on a back burner.

Perhaps the focus will indeed now switch to Annie and/or another event and the BC will fade from the radar screen until another time (?)

Now wait just a dadgum minute. The desert bunker must not have been the place they were looking for. How did they lose the “sanctorum” in the first place?

Unless you’re a Latin geek, you can stop reading here.

Sacred sanctorum is improper Latin. They should be searching for the sanctum, or “holy place,” or better yet the sanctum sanctorum, which means “Holy of Holies” or the “most holy place.” Sanctorum is genitive case, never used as the object of a verb. Thank you for your kind attention.

Yeah, I was also wondering how they lost the place in the first place. Must be quite forgetful.

BTW, I love the artwork in the first panel - the tri-panel. It really sets it up nicely and each character is, well, well-characterized.

Not “Monkey Business”, the business of evil.

Why didn’t Pap Blue Circle ever leave clues behind? Seems dumb to disenvow all knowledge of their secrets from future generations.

I’m beginning to think that this is partially inspired by the latest Scott Brown novel.

If anyone can stumble onto the truth it is that little red haired girl who occasionally appears here.
