So Andy does contribute to the household. Have you checked the price of fish lately?

How’s Andy going to fish without a cooler? I’ve deduced that the number of fish caught is inversely proportional to the number of beers consumed. This is a postulate to the theorem that as the empty pile grows, the fish get smarter. The creel weight of teetotalers can be seen as a negative proof. See The Inebriated Anglers Guide to Mathematics.

So Andy contributes by bringing fish home? Whoopie! I’ll bet he doesn’t even clean them himself but makes Flo do it. And of course she has to cook them. Not much of a contribution IMO.

… I got more enjoyment out of the 7 pages of comics from my “enjoy” tag then I did from from Andy.

Andy’s not going fishing… He’s going to hook and lift a 6 pack from the beer truck and go home and watch a dare game on TV..

It’s good to see Andy relaxing after another difficult week with Flo. Fishing is a time for quiet contemplation, which is something that is difficult for him to do at home.

It would be nice to see Flo pleased with Andy for bringing home a nice stringer of fish, and maybe an eel or two. But alas, if past experience is any indication, she will probably gripe as she cleans them, though she will likely eat the lion’s share of the catch.

Andy has the patience of a saint! Don’t forget that Jesus was also a fisherman, as well as a fisher of men. God bless you Andy Capp! Enjoy your day on the water and good luck to you my brother.
