Yes, having the other boys sent home and having Jack receive a lecture would have been a better example of responsible parenting, and much funnier, to boot.

This is what might have resulted had she gone upstairs and seen for herself what game the boys were playing.

Glass houses, Joe, glass houses. (I’m just sayin’…)

Video games without violence… That limits the choices to a select few sports, racing, and puzzle games.

I mean “glass houses” as in the inadvisablility of stone-throwing by people who live therein. I mean that you’re often very quick to point out the spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors in others’ posts, yet you are not immune from making similar errors.

Your first post was “She should have…saw for herself” when the correct phrase would have been “She should have…seen for herself.”

Indeed, in the first sentence alone of your second post (“I haven’t actually played it yesterday; but, I bought a video game yesterday that can be played using the keyboard or a game controller”), I see one error of tense (“haven’t…played it yesterday”), one (possibly two) of punctuation (“; but,”), the awkward repetition of the word “yesterday”, and an equally dissonant shift from the definite article (“the keyboard”) to the indefinite (“a game controller”). You spelled everything correctly, but that’s still really bad writing.

Remember this moment; when, you’ve been tempted to hastily jump on somebody else, for superfluous commas, a mispelling or misplaced apostrophe’s.

You might also consult Matthew 7:1-5.

I dunno, I used to coach junior high and these guys are JUST the age for “gruesome” basketball! (not that I haven’t seen it on other levels too!)

Veering off topic a bit–Distorshun (the band in Cleats is based on them) won their Battle of the Bands tonight at Fitzgerald’s in Houston.

You’re right, I forgot about simulators. Although a lot of those (like sims) are violent also. I’m not complaining, I’m just pointing out a little fact. If I was complaining, it would be hypocritical. I beat Prince of Persia: Rival Swords a month ago.
