It’s sad, it took me for ever to remember “above the fruited plain”

and i wondered where some song writers got their inspiration

No, no you have it all wrong. The airplane has nothing to do with it at all. She is watching the Gay Rights Convention in the field beside her house.

I guess this could be taken two ways:

1) a pun plain/plane

2) the fact that US farmers, i.e., fertile plains, are being replaced by imports.

LOL whichever way you see it.

Plantains are a type of banana. Plantains grow in Louisiana. Louisiana is in the United States. Ergo, bananas grow in the United States.

Uh bananas grow in Hawaii and FSM which is federated U.S. territory.
