I find this thread a little disturbing. Around here, internet access costs; not big bucks, but not free either. Claire seems to talk like it’s free; here it’s a buying choice one makes. And somebody like Claire urging it would be in exceedingly poor taste.
In fact, the only place the internet is “free” (and then only partly) is at the library. That we’ve already paid for through property taxes.
