Those tank additives can accelerate the breakdown of the tank seals and cause leaks. Or so says my apt manager when he charged me $50 to replace the tank innards because the water was blue. Nevermind that they probably were 25 years old by the time they fell apart.
That’s good to know. See, we try to be informative here as well as entertain. I was also told that products used to clear clogs can wear down and break pipes. Maybe food coloring isn’t such a bad idea.
