Hey there, A Common ‘tater. It’s only 10:35pm where I’m at; the comics change daily around 10:10. Anyway, how do you count the bears’ age rings without getting mauled?

I’ve been to that place in Amarillo, you gotta eat the steak… then a baked potato, salad, shrimp salad, and vegetable including dessert and the gristle and fat of the steak.Bring your appetite!

Yeah, those rings get stuck in the bear’s teeth when he bites off the fingers that people poke into his mouth while they’re trying to count them. The rings, I mean.:)

If you’re close enough to count the rings, the last thing you’re worried about is the Bear’s age.

Tree rings are counted by boring a small hole with a core sampler. I assume you have to saw open the tooth, hopefully while it is not still in the bear’s mouth.

…at least not while the bear is awake.

Good golly, Molly…that couldn’t have been pretty. Can you say bulimia?

They make it sound like Molly was really small – but at 125 lbs,, she not tiny – her height would have been interesting to know – must been a bit peckish …
