Deport anyone who can’t show “Native American” (North OR South) ancestry! The kids could then help load the “Teabaggers” on the buses.

Jesus is not a “flamin’ liberal”, cuz he didn’t say to put a bloated national govt in place. He said for each of us individually to be charitable, not send their kids up to the US.

I’ve got what I think is a valid question: if we were to keep them and not deport them, what do we do with them? I mean, is the foster care system equipped to handle that many unattended minors? Is the education system prepared to teach English to tens of thousands of new students? Maybe they already know English, which is a plus, but I wouldn’t count on it, and I’m not saying that just to be snarky. Just from a logistical standpoint, it sounds like a daunting task to keep them here. Thoughts?

jd: another question, as many of these kids are being sent up to hook up with relatives, are those relatives “legal”??

Yeah, you’re right. And you know what? That’s something for us to be proud of.

We say “Give us your tired, your poor, your humbled masses yearning to breathe free”, not “show us your papers.”

Maybe they should be claiming to be fleeing gay Muslim abortionists. That’d get the attention of the tea party.

I will, don’t worry, but to be generous by force, is, well, by force, right? And to force OTHERS (by voting) based on my Christian faith for THEIR actions, isn’t in the New Testament.
