Above ground pools of all sizes can be tricky. Several years ago, neighbor had a large pool above ground and behind a wooden fence. Problem was, it was not used much and sat idle for a couple summers – and winters!One evening, I was out on the back porch and heard what sounded like boards splintering and water running.Went outside and saw a flood of water running down the driveway! The plastic liner had ruptered. Fortunately, none of it ran into the basement!
Don’t recall how he handled mosquitos. If I see a small puddle, I usually let it set for a couple days and pour a few drops of oil on it. (Give the pests time to lay their eggs!)
