Sandy looks like the goose that laid the golden egg. Very secure in her perch!

At this posting, I am still seeing Stel’s Valentine on this link, but perhaps that will change:

Welcome, Puzzle People and Cleo Fans…

whether you’re either or both… or new to it all.

We’re here to solve, and of course, comment on,

the Saturday “Find the (almost always Nine) Differences” puzzle,

which you can find in the Feb 15th  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY”

Which is, as you probably know, on Sherpa

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

OR… you are welcome to solve it using my side by side version, which makes it a bit easier to see:

    https://i.postimg.cc/0QwkT05c/Cleo-nine-differences-Feb-15th-20.png

(Click to see it larger, or download it to an image editor such as Paint, so you can mark the differences.)

It’s easier to balance TWO checkbooks at once, Cleo….

then all you have to do is hold out one in each front paw, and make sure they balance.

I used to do that, when I still wrote a lot of checks.

Nowadays I just visit my accounts online, where I can gasp in real time, instead of after some figuring.

All the balancing in the world doesn’t put any money in.

Maybe Cleo could go show off that balancing act in the park, or on the street, and pick up a few bucks in her hat….

THAT might help balance the budget.

Oopsie…. usually I check Sherpa to make sure the new strip is up before I post…

Tonight I forgot…. and yes, it’s still stuck on yesterday… no puzzle there yet.

But, as usual, I got it a little early, so I could make my side by side …

so you can all solve it from that, if that’s OK, while we wait for Nighthawks to post it.

Hey, shhhh…. no reason to wake him up, just so you can solve it vertically.

Enjoy looking again at the pretty Valentine while you work on my side by side,

BTW… I understand Sandy very well.

I keep my parameters tightly drawn, especially in the morning.

No sense in facing more than you can handle before you’ve had a few hours to…. you know… acclimatize…

Some people, for reasons unfathomable, are run-out-and -tackle-the-day-headlong types.

    I’m more of a blinking-in-the-surprising-daylight-wondering-whether-I’m-awake person.

Good thing I have sturdy parameters.

OK – about 6 minutes. Some differences are very subtle, but I got them all.

Ok… I just managed to get this page open on my phone.

I’ve had a comment sitting here for at least an hour on my computer, but it won’t post.

    GoComics was stuck for me….

I couldn’t open any new pages, which means I couldn’t go to any other forums.

This page, on my computer, still only shows me my own last post, as “Featured Comment.”

I’m having a little more luck this way, but my comics page is only half loaded and I’m still getting error messages.

Meanwhile, I’ve been entrusted, as I often am, with bringing you the work of the semi-anonymous animation-solution-maker PERFECTIONISTA…

who will NOT be happy if it is not delivered.

I feel that I MUST try to post it now, so I went and got my phone….

cos….. (sniffle) I don’t want to spend years in GoComics Siberia for failing my mission!

If this comment goes through, I am, in turn, entrusting all of you with the animation solution.

    Do not cheat.

    Do not peek early.

And if you don’t see this, meaning that it didn’t post, even from my phone…

and the semi-anonymous animation-solution-maker PERFECTIONISTA comes sniffing around….

    HIDE ME!!!

OK…. here goes… will this stel work?

    https://i.postimg.cc/fbj7RqCR/FTD-2-15-2020-AB.gif

If you see this… good night….
