The GOP will gain seats in Congress, but the Tea Baggers will find, now that they are no longer needed, that nothing will change – the Cheney/Bush people will still be in charge and they will still do all of the things they have always done.
@Ken The GOP won’t discard them. They will call them up again two years later for the presidential election via their mailing list.
@Dr.Canuck Doesn’t take much for the Christian Conservatives to come out and protest. Just mention D.A.D.T. or gay marriage and they will come out in droves.
