This is a very timely strip. Saturday and Sunday there’s no sales tax in MA, which really seems to bring out the… well, the most Massacusetts-eque behavior in people.

I was ignorant of this, but the wild turkey is the state game bird. State bird is the black-capped chickadee.

Ha, that state bird is absolutely PERFECT! I mean, chickadees are cute and all, but really.

I’ve driven in Massachusetts & I can see why other people from outside the state call the drivers in that state a bunch of “Massholes” when it comes to being rude. I used to live in Mass. years and have had some of the best times in my life when I lived in Ft. Devens. But, now that I am much older I avoid driving in Mass. if I can avoid it.

Think I remember that Darby spent time in Knoxville, TN. Tennesseans are probably the most polite culture in the country, so I suspect the contrast is noticeable.
