It does no good to ask me what I think either, Earl. My girl asks me what colors look good too. I haven’t the foggiest idea.

Sorry, Opal, most guys are either color blind, or they don’t really care…….No offense intended…….

If Earl told Opal what he thinks, she’d say he was wrong. Another “Does this make me look fat?” question. Yes dear. You’re right dear. I agree dear are the only safe answers.

Sounds like my husband. I am required to listen without complaint to his endless views on politics, but I can’t discuss anything he isn’t interested in. “What makes you think I am the least interested in that subject?” grrr

this is just a safer way of saying:

“I don’t know, and I don’t care”

until she figures it out
