There he is... Mr. Blue Jay... Bully of the birdbath... Oh, how I hate him. Wham! But one good thing about bluejays is, they almost always fall for the bird feeder behind a closed window prank.

Bravo, Pilsner! Bluejays are rather handsome but big bullies, driving cardinals, sparrows, and all manner of smaller birds away from their seized territory. If you can pull off that stunt a few more times, the birdbath outside the window will be a much happier place!

we had a psychotic robin once, kept attacking one window until he got blood all over it. tried to cover the window, but it is pretty windy here.

Audubon once took a cage full of wild birds from the US to England. The bluejay killed every other bird in the cage before they arrived.
