Ruthie you should be asleep not asking for water, I think she is comforted and secure because dad is snoring.My kids little once in bed they did not wake up to ask for water, they slept all night.

If she got up to get it herself, she would have to go into her parents room to ask a few unrelated questions. They would have to wake up anyway,
