I liked school when I was in Catholic school K-8, kind of liked high school but not as much. But there was a time I walked to school, also. Only a couple of blocks, but it was fun! Of course back then, it was safe!
For community college, it was easy getting there on my bicycle (and sometimes walking) from home; a short distance with not much traffic. The only hard part was going back; it wasn’t easy to pedal uphill. I had to dismount and walk beside my bike.
Is Ginger in a Catholic school, Jason? I was in a Catholic school through 8th grade, but i didn’t think Ginger was. Maybe I missed something. Just curious, sir. I think this strip is just awesome!
Nope - he goes to a public school in his local suburb. He does occasionally take the bus when Benny’s riding it, but his parents prefer him to walk since it’s cheaper.
They do worry about him straying and not turning up for school though!
In one rural area my brother and I could walk the 3 miles home and get there before the bus went by 1/2 hour later. We rode mornings because were at the end of the route.
